MakEdu Conference, Oct. 21
The weekend kicks off the MakEdu Conference on Sat. Oct. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Aderhold Learning Center [60 Luckie Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30303]. Presented by Southeast Makers Alliance, and in partnership with Alonzo A. Crim Center for Urban Educational Excellence at Georgia State University, the MakEdu Conference welcomes educators, parents, homeschoolers and older students who want to spend time learning about the movement from an educational perspective.

Maker Faire Atlanta, Oct. 22
TCS students and teachers will be making and tinkering in the Innovator’s Playground at Maker Faire Atlanta on Sun., Oct. 22, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.! The Maker Faire is an amazing family event, so be sure to bring everyone to the greatest show and tell on earth!
