On April 12, The Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor NHA announced that The Children’s School placed third in it’s Cultural Keepers Classroom Competition!
Prizes were awarded to schools that “dive deeper into the importance of the preservation of Gullah Geechee heritage in the classroom and beyond.”
TCS Eighth Grade Teacher Carl Parke submitted the materials for the competition and found out earlier this month that TCS placed third. Click here to read Carl’s blog post about the PBL unit.
