One of our favorite expressions at TCS is, “play is serious learning.” We know that children learn best when they’re actively engaged in their learning and play is the best way to stimulate active brains.
From watching bees pollinate flowers to collecting water samples from Lake Clara Meer in Piedmont Park, nature is one of the best places for students to engage in hands-on learning and connect what they’ve learned in a project-based learning (PBL) unit to a real-life example.
