Our TCS Girls On The Run (GOTR) team is thriving! These amazing girls have been learning about topics such as positive self-talk, healthy habits, gratitude, handling and responding to peer pressure, standing up for oneself in a difficult conversation, putting an end to gossip, qualities of true friendship, and much more, all while playing running games and building endurance to run a 5k road race. Furthermore, the girls are designing and launching a community impact project next month. Impressive right?
Show your support to our third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade team members by cheering them on at the upcoming GOTR 5k road race on Sat., April 28, 8:00 a.m. (race start time). You can show up on the Atlantic Station area route with your smile, cowbell, or megaphone to show your support as they go by, or register to run with us!
