As a part of their poetry unit, third graders at The Children’s School study the poem “Where I”m From” by George Ella Lyons and then create their own version of the iconic poem.
Current fourth grader Anthony Halkos created his own “Where I’m From” poem in Diana’s third grade class and shared it with “Stone Soup,” the nonprofit literary magazine 100% written and illustrated by kids.
