About Kiara
Hi, I’m Kiara and I am the storyteller and social media associate here at The Children’s School! I recently graduated from Georgia State University with a B.A. in Journalism (Public Relations). I consider myself equal parts writer and creative. I have many interests including health/wellness, graphic design, and music but I am most passionate about social change, arts, and culture. I also own a nonprofit with a couple of my close friends.
What are you most excited about this year?
I’m most excited to get to know all the teachers, students, and families here!
When you’re not at school, where can we find you?
You can usually find me reading/writing in a cozy spot, at an artsy event, or listening to one of my favorite podcasts.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
My favorite city to visit is New Orleans. I am new to traveling so I’m sure I will add more favorite getaways to my list soon.
Which fictional character would you most like to meet?
I would LOVE to meet Freddie Brooks from “A Different World.” She’s quirky, yet brilliant and reminds me very much of my authentic self!
