Tara joins TCS as our new Upper School director of student life and high school counseling. Born and raised in southern California, she attended undergrad at the University of California, Irvine and graduate school at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Tara spent 13+ years supporting students and their families at various universities across the US, and also served as a sixth-grade long-term substitute teacher of mathematics in Cleveland, OH. To fill her cup, she enjoys watching cinema, reading, writing poetry, dancing, and singing as well as being in nature! She is very excited to begin her very 1st year at TCS!
What are you most excited about this year?
I am most excited to utilize my strengths, skills, and energy to engage, empower, uplift, encourage, and enrich the hearts and minds of the community at TCS and learn from everyone!
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
My favorite vacation spot is currently San Diego, California as I love the beach and could have been a mermaid in a former life!
Which fictional character would I most like to meet?
I would most like to meet Dorothy in both the Wiz and the Wizard of Oz!
