Meaghan grew up in Albany, Ga and went to undergrad at the University of West Georgia. After graduation, she spent eight years teaching math in China, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Bahrain. Meaghan loves to travel with friends and family and loves to try new restaurants.
What are you most excited about this year?
I’m most excited to meet my new students, connect with new colleagues and get involved in the community at TCS.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
My favorite vacation spot so far has been Tokyo, Japan. I really enjoyed the delicious food, amazing sites and generous people. It was a feast for the senses!
Which fictional character would you most like to meet?
I would most like to meet Mary Poppins. She was so loving and caring. She enacted out-of-the-box solutions for her students, and went to no end to solve issues at hand. Hopefully, my students see me just as supercalifragialisticexpialidocious like her.
