Jen has now been in education for 20+ years, teaching a range of ages from pre-k to sixth grade. She grew up in South Jersey, outside of Philadelphia, made her way to the College of Charleston in South Carolina to receive her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and then moved to Atlanta to begin her career in education.
Shortly after moving here, she attended Georgia State and received her master’s degree in Reading, Language, and Literacy. After 18 years in the classroom, she made the move into administration to focus on curriculum development for grades K-5. Jen joins us after 10 years at The Lovett School and is thrilled to focus on progressive instructional practices as she joins the team at TCS. She lives in Inman Park with her husband and rescue pup, Gramps!
