Meet Chalon Obi, our new assistant director of Extended Day and Summer Learning programs! Chalon has been in education for more than 25 years. She’s moved between teaching infants through adults in the classroom and administrative work Chalon has even lived and taught in South Korea for 4 years!She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in art from the Art Institute of Atlanta, and served as an executive director of Matthews Boys and Girls Club in Metro Atlanta.
What are you most excited about this year?
I am most excited about developing our staff professional and personally and helping to move the EDSL program forward.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Favorite vacation spot would be when i traveled to Madrid, Spain where I was able to see all of the things I studied in Art History class
