Meet school nurse Colleen Ward! Colleen is delighted to join TCS. She is originally from Upstate NY but has lived in Atlanta for 22 years. She holds a B.A. in psychology, a B.S.N. in nursing, and is currently in school working toward her M.S.N. in Education. Her greatest joy comes from raising her four boys, ages 13, 15, 17, and 19!
What are you most excited about this year?
My passion for nursing shines as a pediatric nurse and my favorite place to care for kids is in a school! I am very excited to meet all of the children who make up The Children’s School and ride this wave together. Hobbies and things I consider fun are: riding my bike, knitting, and eating peanut M&M’s.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
St. Augustine, Florida (family vacation spot with many great memories)
Which fictional character would you most like to meet?
Instead of the fictional character I’d like to meet, I’d rather choose a fictional character I’d like to be: Mary Poppins! Why? So I could float around with an umbrella and dance with Dick Van Dyke!
