Meet eighth grade teacher Aja Moore! Aja (pronounced Asia) has taught internationally for 5 years. The first country she taught in was Costa Rica, where she taught math, science, lego robotics, and started a competitive cheer program. She then moved to Shanghai, China to teach science while exploring the eastern world. Aja loves to travel, read, and do an occasional backflip!
What are you most excited about this year?
I am most excited about teaching students from my home city. This will be my first year teaching students in America.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
My favorite vacation spot is Singapore. The people are so nice and the city is so lively. I love how you can have the best of both worlds there with equal parts of relaxation and fun.
Which fictional character would you most like to meet?
I would love to meet Day and June from the Legend Series by Marie Lu. They are so young, yet so influential to the uprising to overthrow a corrupt system.
