Meet third grade teacher Trisha Buckley! Trisha has taught for over 30 years in both public and private schools. Trisha and her husband Stephen have two rescue dogs, Briscoe and Clarence, and a beautiful cat Rose.
What are you most excited about this year?
I am most excited about working with my students and their families and being a part of the TCS community!
When you’re not at school, where can we find you?
When I’m not at school, you will find me spending time with family and friends, going to the many festivals around Atlanta, attending plays and musicals or relaxing with a good book.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
I love the water so you will find me on the beach. The Gulf Coast and the Florida Keys are my favorites with the Oregon Coast a close second!
Which fictional character would you most like to meet?
I have always told my students that I want to be Ms. Frizzle. Her energy and passion for teaching and learning is contagious! Who wouldn’t want to explore the ocean in a school bus?!
