Jonathan Wintsch is The Children’s School’s new IT director. Jonathan has done education IT work for about 15 years. He just moved down to Atlanta from Connecticut, where he had a four-year term on his local board of education and served as a Justice of the Peace. He and his wife have two children, a dog, a cat, and a rabbit (which is down from 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 rabbits, and 7 hermit crabs)!
What are you most excited about this year?
Getting to know everyone and making sure the school gets the most out of tech investments.
When you’re not at school, where can we find you?
I like cycling but lately, I’ve just been exploring since I’m new to Georgia.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Highland Lake in Bridgton, ME where my father and I run a 24ft wood-fired steamboat.
Which fictional character would you most like to meet?
This is hard! I have a much bigger list of historical folks. Fictional would probably be one of the characters from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (my favorite 4 book trilogy).
