Meet second grade teacher Kole Camp! Kole was a kindergarten teacher for 13 years and a paraeducator for a 10-year-old boy with cerebral palsy for 2 years. She’s originally from Weschester County, NY, where her love of the Yankees was born and still going strong. Outside of teaching, Kole enjoys crocheting, singing, writing and porching with her girlfriend and close friends.
What are you most excited about this year?
I am so excited to meet our students and get to know the teacher I will be working with this year.
When you’re not at school, where can we find you?
On someone’s porch, chatting, and listening to music or at some karaoke bar belting out black velvet.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
I love vacationing in Mexico. I’ve been to many parts but Isla Mujeres is my favorite so far.
Which fictional character would you most like to meet?
I would love to meet the genie from Aladdin because he was funny, sang the best songs and would possibly give me 3 wishes.
